Fairly hard to mess this one up with the instructions. The rear sight required a gunsmith to drill and tap the receiver. The Rem. Trijicon make sights with orange, yellow, and green illuminated dots. I received green which are the brightest and are warrantied seven years longer than the orange and yellow, for a total of 12 years. These sights are straight forward well constructed unlike some of the other ghost ring sights on the market with exaggerated protection fins.
These are not the cheapest but they are from the most expensive—a great buy for someone who want just some high-quality shotgun sights. This sight is relatively easy to install if you have some general mechanical ability. I had to drill and tap the receiver…which was easy. I don't know what a gunsmith would charge, but it's a great reason to buy an inexpensive drill press for close to the same price. The instructions are easy to follow, be sure to read them. Tip: drill the rear hole first, and then mark the front hole for drilling.
